Public transportation from Oregon ave to Navy Yard is easy. The Navy Yard Loop Shuttle will shuttle anyone around for free!
If you're on Broad St, just the Broad st line (or walk) from Oregon ave to AT&T station. From there the Navy Yard Loop Shuttle will pick you up and take you throughout the Navy Yard at absolutely no cost. (If you're anywhere else on Oregon ave, you can take the Septa 7 or G bus towards Broad at Oregon.)
The South Broad Street Sidepath is a project to enhance the existing South Broad Street sidewalk into a multiuse sidepath between Oregon Avenue and the Navy Yard. The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) completed a conceptual design plan of the sidepath in 2013. In summer 2015, the Office of Transportation and Infrastructure Systems (OTIS) applied for multimodal funding for final design and construction of the sidepath. Currently, no update has been given.
